Everyone has heard of Docker, but what is a container? Is it really a "lightweight VM"? In this talk we'll dispel the magic and see what a containers really are by writing one in a few dozen lines of Go code.

At this talk you'll learn about namespaces and cgroups, and how they are used to create containers. You don't necessarily need to know Go for this talk to be of interest, but we assume you are familiar with some basic Linux commands like ls and ps.
