Our story
Our journey kicked off in 2013 with a simple conviction: the tech community deserves events built with deep technical substance rather than surface-level slides. Born directly from the engineering DNA of Prezi and IBM Budapest Lab, CraftHub stepped out as an independent venture in 2020 to take that mission global.
Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a single conference into a full-scale knowledge ecosystem. We bridge the world’s top practitioners with ambitious builders, creating the spaces where real software craft is shared, challenged, and elevated.

Craft Conference 2021
Due to the pandemic, Craft Conference 2021 was held entirely online in a festival-like format, and for the first time included a standalone hackathon (CraftHack). The focus was on distributed data architecture, observability, and organising remote teams.
