About Wei Wang

WANG Wei (David) boasts almost 20 years of expertise in software engineering and design, with a footprint across diverse sectors, including semiconductor, telecom, energy, financial services, and cargo shipment. His specialization centers on legacy system modernization, technology strategy clarification, and digital transformation. Over the past decade, he has spearheaded the modernization of various legacy systems, offering support to clients in navigating intricate technical challenges and achieving strategic objectives. David ardently advocates for harnessing complexity and sociotechnical practices to enhance not only software systems but also software organizations, and more.

In addition to his professional contributions, David is a co-founder of the DDDChina and Cynefin Chinese communities. In 2023, he embarked on a new endeavor, establishing Zhipu Technology, a software consulting firm located in Beijing. Prior to this journey, David held the position of Principal Consultant at Thoughtworks from 2014 to 2023.
