Hardware Enclaves have been an interesting and promising evolution in security. While manufacturers have created different ways of solving the problem of trust and secrets management, the high-level goals remain mostly the same. The future of IoT, Cloud, Mobile, and ultimately, secure computing, in general, will most likely incorporate some form of enclave-based security. Join Aaron as he explores the most widely available options and their usage. Aaron will discuss design trade-offs, security, and performance of these options, along with the ergonomics and practicality of deploying them to production.
