In the past months we’ve been constantly reevaluating the possible tools, dates and outcomes of organising an offline or online conference.
It is our great sadness to share with you that we decided to cancel Craft Conference 2020 along the conference talks and workshops.
While the COVID-19 crisis is seemingly settling down in Europe, experts are warning us to prepare for an even bigger second wave later this year which makes it impossible to organize Craft as we all know it. The health and expectations of our community are our utmost priority which made our decision easier. Naturally, we’re refunding your tickets 100% and we are already contacting ticket holders, speakers, sponsors and partners with the next steps.
If rescheduling Craft wasn’t already tough on us, cancelling Craft 2020 is definitely taking its toll. However, we remain positive as we're experimenting with new ways to keep our crafting community strong. We gained a lot of insight about your online learning habits in our latest survey. We just launched our free online meetup last week with great success and we will be back with more soon. Craft Conference is rescheduled - published on March 18, 2020
During the past weeks our organizing team has been closely monitoring and evaluating the news about the COVID-19 pandemic and we’ve been in contact with local authorities and our vendors to ensure we take the necessary measures to protect the health and safety of our community.
We decided to reschedule Craft from June 9-12, 2020 to October 13-16, 2020 along the conference talks, workshops and meetups.
Postponing the event was surely a challenging decision to make, we visited many options to come up with the best solution. We have a precious community of attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners and vendors who deserve to experience the highest level of Craft in a safe environment which we currently feel we could not provide in June. We are very sorry for the inconveniences this may cause. We appreciate the patience you’re showing as we work through this difficult situation.
While we’re disappointed that we will not be able to see you this summer, we remain excited about hosting you in the fall. Rest assured we are doing our best to make the conference even better than what it would have been in June. We’re in contact with all of our speakers and we hope all of them can join us for the ride. We’re asking for your understanding as the lineup may change.
If you’re an attendee and already have your Craft ticket, we sent you a letter with the next steps. You can either ask us to transfer your ticket to the event in October or for a month you can request a full refund. The deadline for this is April 17, after that we’ll automatically transfer the tickets to the new date.
Ticket sales is currently suspended. If you don't have a ticket yet, don't worry, we'll reopen the bookings by late April.

We’d like to ask everyone to strictly follow the measures of local authorities to slow the spread and flatten the curve. Crises like these demand responsibility and creativity, so please, take care of yourselves and each other, act as a community, help those in need who have a hard time keeping up with the changes.
