Better late than never, I am proudly presenting 2024 Craft Conf event of the FSBP series.
We bring you two professionals with two fascinating topics this year
Our first speaker is Ian Cooper (@ICooper), and he speaks to us about the "Sub-domains From Business Capabilities".
Domain Driven Design asks us to focus our energy more on the domain and less on the infrastructure details. But it is remarkably quiet on how model domains other than introducing the idea of ubiquitous language and some patterns that solve specific issues with domain isolation.
In this talk, Ian Cooper looks at what Domain Driven Design means by focus on the domain, how we find domains, and techniques that we can use to model them.
We will seek to move away our thinking away from aggregates and repositories and instead try to ask more broadly how we can meet Domain Driven Design's goal of shifting the focus to the domain.

Our second speaker is Szilárd Pfeiffer (@pfeifferszilard) and he walks around "Why We Cannot Say That a TLS Connection Is Certainly Secure".
Considering how many vulnerabilities were disclosed in the 2010s, some might say that all the information was available to create a new protocol version thought secure in all aspects.
As usual, researchers proved there are still problems with TLS and other cryptographic protocols. Some issues are caused by the pretty old Diffie-Hellman protocol of the '70s, while others are improper implementations of our days, while still are the quantum computers of the 2030s.
In the presentation, Szilárd demonstrates how hard it is to reveal these issues using the most popular tester tools, such as Qualys SSL Labs, or Immuniweb, but presents free on-prem and SaaS solutions that can help you find the devil in the details.
